The largest companies of the next decade will be built by European engineers.
{Tech: Europe} is Europe's largest builder network. Through our hackathons and community, we know the engineers and founders who will build the companies that matter. As AI compounds what small teams can do, hiring has become the single highest leverage activity in any ambitious company. The best founders already know this. We're building the network that helps them act on it.

The role

As Talent Associate, you sit at the centre of that network. You'll get to know hundreds of the most ambitious technical people in Europe, understand what they want to build and where they want to go, and connect them with the companies and co-founders who can take them there.
Concretely, you will:

- Build deep relationships with engineers and technical founders across our community, understanding their ambitions, strengths, and what makes them tick.
- Work directly with founders and hiring leaders at top tier startups to understand what they actually need, then introduce the right people.
- Run point on talent flow from our hackathons and programmes into hiring opportunities, co-founder matches, and roles inside our portfolio.
- Develop a perspective on what separates good engineers from exceptional ones, and use that judgment to shape who we bring into the network next.

Who you'll work with

Founders building venture backed companies across AI, robotics, and infrastructure. Hiring leaders at some of the most respected technology companies in Europe and the US. A small, senior team that has invested in and operated alongside companies from seed to scale.

Who we're looking for

This role suits someone with high ambition in tech who is energised by being useful through bringing the right people together. You should meet at least one of the following:

- You've built inside a venture backed startup.
- You've started a company yourself.
- You've hired for technical roles, as a hiring manager or recruiter.
- You've worked as an engineer.

Stronger candidates will combine more than one of these. But the bar is judgment, drive, and people instinct, not years on a CV.

Logistics

Berlin based. Internship or full time, depending on where you are in your career. We are open to candidates at any stage of experience if the fit is right, so apply even if the shape of your background is unusual.
